Coloring, Cuting, Pasting

So, new plan.  Photograph Charlotte's artwork.  As I post it to the blog, I'm also saving it to a special folder.  Then, hopefully, at the end of the year I can have all of her work printed as a photobook of her 2012 artwork.  I hope to do the same for Frederick, but his last masterpiece found its way in between Charlotte's scissors.  And, let's face it, I don't plan to take a picture of every scribble he drops on a piece of paper.

Anyway, the theme this week was Mommy prints, Charlotte colors, cuts, pastes together on construction paper, tapes a second sheet of paper to the first and draws her family.  I love how she always draws herself holding "baby" Frederick, even though I can't remember the last time she held him that way.

Since she doesn't know how to write the word "alligator," she decided that "cat" works just as well.

And please, don't look too much into the photo below.  There is simply a baby on my shirt.  Funny MC, it sure does look like a baby in my belly! Do you know something I don't?

And yes, she named the dog "Sparkly."  On another note, yesterday she was pretending to be a cat named "Sparkles." Frederick followed suit and I decided to dub him "PJ."  Ahh, the simple things that amuse me.(Anyone else remember PJ Sparkles?)
