Little Picasso

Charlotte and I have spent quite a bit of time lately coloring and painting.  She really LOVES to paint.  Most of the time all of her colors end up completely mixed together and I don't really have anything that interesting to keep.  I really like this piece, though with all of the multi-colored hand prints.

Lately, to our excitement, she's started showing purpose in her drawing too.  She loves making these curly cue lines that she calls "wiggles."

Charlotte has also started drawing people. You know, the kind that really look like aliens with multiple arms and legs coming out of a single head.

This one even has hair AND ears.  Genius, don't you think?

I love the handprints! Charlotte has an excellent eye for color :) Speaking of Picasso, we drove by Pinot and Picasso the other night - we should go sometime!

I think I'm going to have to frame the one with the hand prints.

AND I'm all for Pinot and Picasso.

it also looks a little like I'm having a conversation with myself, doesn't it :-P
