So this weekend Charlotte chilled with her Aunts Christy and Helen and her Grandaunt Paula while we spent some adult time enjoying the festivities surrounding Jeff and Elizabeth's wedding.
Since Fred participated as a groomsman, we passed the weekend close to all of the action! Friday night we had the pleasure of attending the rehearsal dinner at Goode Company's Armadillo Palace. The good Texas BBQ always satisfies my taste buds, and the company made the evening a change from the L-O-N-G work week.

Jeff, the picture of calm, cool, and collected, took some last minute dancing pointers from the flower girl.

Fred helped the Father of the Bride with his hankie, since he had bigger things on his mind.

The beauty of St. Anne's Catholic Church added to the traditional Nuptial Mass.

We followed the Limo the a wonderful New Orleans style reception at the Junior League.

At the reception we got down to business taking advantage of the open bar, loading up at the mashed potato bar, eating cake, and dancing to the great live band while we caught up with old friends and made new ones.
After seeing the Bride and Groom off, we met back up with them (and about 15 other people!) at the St. Regis Hotel bar for a post-reception celebration!

Saturday I waited with the Groom and his Groomsmen for 3 o'clock to roll around.

A major perk of arriving early with my groomsman hubby: a rock star view!

I just love this part!

Another thing I don't usually get to see unless I'm hanging with the Wedding Party:
